I need help from you turbo experts...I am using a skunk2 manifold on my gsr turbo setup. but the inlet from the manifold sits up alot higher on the skunk2 mani than it does on the stock gsr mani. would a charge pipe for a type r or LS work? or do I need to have a custom one made?

you might actually get away with using the one that you have.

i have swaped turbo kits from gsr's to gsr's with skunk mani's and also swaped into teg ls. it all worked. i guess it depends how "acurate" your piping is.

 

The LS or type-r charge pipe would work for you

or civic as well... some go through the hole in the front, some go under by the front mount.

thank you all for the suggestions. I am going to try and find an LS or Type R charge pipe. I think I'm going to have to ghetto rig the gsr charge pipe for a temp quick fix until I can find one.

you can use teh gsr charge pipe on the skunk manifold just get creative.

 

i heard you could flip the charge pipe around to fit the manifold. try it

 

gsr will work but the filter will be close to the abs.

 

that's not a bad idea...I will try flipping it around! I will let you know how it turns out.

I know somebody on here is running a skunk2 on their turbo GSR...post pic if you got em.

I have skunk2 on gsr. Just order the type r kit.

i have a gsr in a 93 hatch. i have the skunk 2 mani and i still used the same charge pipe. the only problem was my filter hit the radiator hose so i had to cut the intake arm a little

yea, it is. i actually like it for what it is. sounds much like my friends blitz bov. and it was free!

testudo: I'm having the same problem with my filter...it rests right up under the hose and against the coolant resevoir....I'm gonna try to get a smaller filter.

I got the chargepipe to fit, but it rubs the hood...what should I do?

what rubs the hood charge pipe or BOV????

 

i used the same charge pipe on my ****, got the skunk2 mani, DRAG gen 3 kit,,, in a 93 si hatch,, i did however re-fab the pipe from the charge pipe to the intercooler,,, with a 1 piece u-bend, i( i had 2 pieces from a rigged kit) it works fine fits perfect and looks alot better, my charge pipes used to rub on something close to the passenger strut tower, so this worked out for me
