I don't know about the VTEC x-over point but i would suggest getting some exhaust to relieve all that back pressure your creating.

of course ideally you would dyno and find the optimum point based on crossover, blah blah blah.

but i think people are setting their x-over at itr or near it, like 56-5700 but i believe these are likely people with more mods, especially cams.

you're going to want an ecu with a "single butterfly" program. not sure what your options are unless you downgrade to obd1 (which means buying a wiring harness adapter).

You do not want to do that... Simply swapping intake manifolds doesn't not necessitate the need to change your VTEC point. The only time VTEC engagement should be changed is when you are running different cams. Then you must set the VTEC appropriately for that particular cam profile/design.

Nor does swapping the intake manifold necessitate the need to switch ecus. Althought the p72 (GSR) ecu has IAB control, it does not alter fuel and timing during or after the IBA switch over point. Therefore simply disengaging or not running/having IAB's will not affect the ECU or performance related to the ECU. The p72 ecu will work just fine.
