Default spoon strut bars f & r fitment?

Hey

quick question before I shell out the $$$$, how's the fitment? And the install? DIY-friendly? I figure they'd fit perfectly, but just wanted to make sure from anyone with 'em... oh, and how's $325 + shipping for both?

My rear bar fits perfect except the bracket rubs against the interior panel a little.

I paid 130 for my rear one so 325 sounds kinda high for both. The front one shouldn't be that much more.

AJ Racing in Canada. Shipping was only 15 to CA.

I forget their website address though, but if you google it...

Like Ein mentioned, the rear bar does contact the inside of the plastic panels, slightly. It's no biggie, though. It takes a little finesse to get everything in there right, but it's an easy do-it-yourself mod -- shouldn't take 15 min.

I love the Spoon bar, by the way. It's really rigid and looks great.

Just an FYI spoons FRONT lower tie sits VERY low underneath the car, and can scrape on steep inclines or large bumps/road debris - which is why i didn't get it (good only at the track really - so I have heard) the upper tie bars are nice - FYI mugen upper strut bars on ebay (not me)

The neuspeed rear bar might actually be stiffer. The spoon bar is held to each braket with one bolt, which allows the brakets to pivot on the bar. The neuspeed bar uses two bolts per bracket, preventing the pivoting.

Dunno how detrimental that pivot action is however. And the neuspeed doesn't look as nice nor is the bar as beefy.
