Default Pulling a Gas Tank

I was wondering if it were to be easy to pull one out, too lazy right now to go check the haymes manual and i'm at work. My gas tank i believe is leaking at the seems so i'm putting gas only in half way so i might be able to get a hold of one. so just wondering how hard it would be. thanks guys.

its not hard but a very shitty and dirty job. run the tank as dry as you can before removing the tank. you'll thank yourself later.

and make sure to work in a very ventilated area. outside is usually a good spot, but make sure no one is smoking.

Nice thing about a Honda is they put a drain plug on the tank..
It is a 17mm on the drivers side, rear of tank.

the straps are pretty easy to get off (well they were for my case). remember that you need to remove 2-3 rubber hoses and one feed line. i think the feed line has a 14mm connection bolt that was a bitch for me to get off!

Good point w/ the safety glasses, it is also nice to have a buddy help out w/ the tank is an awkward P.O.S. soak the strap bolts w/ WD40 or somthing to make it easier.
