Default HELP!>> Fueal tank leaking

For the past couple of days i thought i could smell gas fumes from my car(93 civic coupe) but, i brushed it off because i had just filled my car up with gas. So this morning i find a bit of a wet ptach under the gas tank, its not a major leak, just an odd drop of gas.
so my question is. Is there anything i can put on the tank to cover up the hole, or what else is there to do?

thanks.

first figure out what's leaking. And just about any fix that you could do to it would be ghetto and temp.... if the tank really is leaking due to a hole/puncture/whatever, it should be replaced...

there is a plastic covering under the gas tank
remove it (clips and bolts)
see where the leak is coming from

you can use an epoxy or maybe even jbweld to patch it, but the better option is to remove it from the car, dispose of the gas, purge the gas fumes, and weld it. just don't forget to purge the fumes!!!!

well for now i might just have to epoxy it seeing as i have no money for a real good fix.
- and if i do weld it i will definetly puge the fumes!!!!

thanks.
