Question about arp headstuds

Default Question about arp headstuds

i want to get stronger headstuds..

1. do i get gsr ones for itr?
2. and.. headstuds same thing as cylinder head bolts? (as listed in helms manual)?
3. anything esle besides arp?

They replace your head BOLTS with studs, I've been researching them lately, the studs thread into the block first hand tight then you put your head on and the ARP package comes with washers and nuts that go on after the head. I'm going to pick up mine tomorrow morning, but they're for a different application than the ITR.

Also look into AEBS studs as well, they have a pencil tip that will bottom out the stud unlike the ARP ones.

Also I've heard that the Aebs studs can be fitted into the block with a hex. Arp you have to hand tighten, then lock up two nuts.

$130 vs. $180 ish.... ARP studs will be fine for nearly everyone's requirements.

Actually, they are cheaper than ARP... $115 vs. $130
