Default Head Studs/Bolts

Whats the difference betweent the two? Do they do the same thing? What do I need to change so the engine can handle the boost? Im tuning and internals are done also. Thanks.

Stock head bolts cannot be reused due to bolt stretch. Go with ARP head studs... they are reuseable as well.

Stock headstuds will stretch. Get ARP head studs.

If you wanna be technical about it, ARP studs stretch also..

But the difference is that the ARP's use a stud/bolt set-up to compensate for the amount of stretch. The extra 'stretch' is not factored in because it just sits above the actual bolt whereas with the stud it goes deeper into the block.
