b20 vtec timong belt and tensioner
well i need to know what timing belt and tensin er to get for a friends enging.
The combo is a 97' b20 block, with a b16 head. I am using the type r water and oil pump and can not get a b16 belt to fit. What am i doing wrong?

What ever oil pump you use dictates which belt you will need. In your case, since you're using the ITR oil pump, you will need to purchase the GSR/ITR timing belt from now on.

The water pump dictates the belt.
