Auto X at Hollywood Park
Hi,
Just wanted to thank Yoshi and everyone else there today for the help that they gave me and for letting me borrow the air compressor
I had a lot of fun and so did all of my friends. I ran a 72.013 and a 73.128 which was pretty bad but I was happy with the results since it was my first time and running on street tires.
I bet I could have gotten into the upper 60s with slicks and some practice
Thanks Again
-Jeff

Well, It was my first time running too, and I had a blast. Best 25 bucks I ever spent
I like to thank everyone for the help they gave me, especially to Yoshi. He took care of me like an older brother. He gave me tips, found me an instructor, walked the course with me, helped me tech, helped me register, and everything....
BIG THANKS TO YOU YOSHI, YOU"RE THE BEST!!!!
I had a blast. The turn out was great. Many Integras. It was a pleasure to meet everyone else too. I wasn't lying when I told you guys I was shy.
I'll try to speak more at the next event.

let me jast say the ITR springs with ITR front shox and Koni yellows in da rear seem to have made a difference. More seat time and results will be required to see if this is consistant so we'll see. good to see all dem ITR kiddoz.

Wassup fellas,
2nd time auto-xing turned out to be somethin' short of a nightmare! I could have been much faster but found out that with new tires (Falken Azenis) with taller sidewall my R's ride height need to be raised! Car was justtoo low and front left rubbed like crazy. Worked well on road course but sucked at auto-x! Averaged low 70's over 3 runs
Not to mention I had no sleep before the auto-x so I was like mad tired when I finally got on the course. That was like 5-6 hours after I got there.
I will never ever do this again! I didn't do bad but I could have done much better, thas for sure! But enjoyed seein' all the fellas ecspeially socal98itr, yellow blur, plus all the regulars!
~bro-bot-who is tryin' to forget yesterdays auto-x performance!~

Hey Yoshi,
Do you regularly have Socal ITR meets or just at auto cross events or ?? Two of my friends also have ITRs and it would be nice for a get together or whatever.
Also what kind of tires do I need for Auto X?? Thanks

Thank you Yoshi for not beating up on me too bad!!! VagoITR...the FD probably saw j00r In & Out shirt and thought that he could get a soda and some fries from j00. It's always kewl to see the kaas spin...from a distance though. It was good seeing j00 all. Peace out G-money rides!!!
yeah the auto-x was cool but i think i'm going to have dreams/nightmares about a certain white FD losing control and running me over. close one.
for the most part yes. in this particlular case he was going pretty fast and it wasa hard to judge where he was going to end up as he kept correcting and changing directons. my advice to you....when in doubt..
ruuuunnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!
ruuuunnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!
you guys have probably seen that video with the corvette taking out a bystander at one of the auto-x's. talk about get out of your seat and run!!!! I'm sure you guys have seen it, ILOVEBACON!
Unfortunately, when I saw that VDO, the very first thing I asked was
"was that SCCA sanctioned"?
I have never seen that at an SCCA sanctioned event. Just remember one thing:
"Never turn your back away from cars in an AutoX".
Always be prepared to take appropriate measures.
