Hate to steal this thread but...
Anyone have advice on a B18C1 buildup I could do? Its for a turbo, but I want to make sure the engine is damn-boost proof before I get the turbo
Any suggestions on what kind of compression and internals I should use?

start your own thread, this guy has a competent question. ok back on topic, you could definitely take the engine out and at least disassemble it yourself. if youve never put an engine together before than i would definitely let them put it together. also what kinda sleeves are you getting for that price??

That price seems a little high. two of my friend just recently got built blocks form GE. They each paid $2800 and it included complete teardown and cleaning, sleeving, boring honing, eagle rods, srp pistons, rings, bearings, crank polishing, and a completely assembled bottom end sleeved to 85mm and shipped both ways. they look bad *** too! thumbs up to GE! I will definately be contacting them soon for my own motor!
