ive heard that once the block gaurd is in you couldnt get out. and if you did you would have to sleeve the motor. but that may be hear say.

my first LS block that i sent to Golden Eagle.... it had a block guard welded in... ....the block came back with no block guard and some bad *** GE sleeves

if you are gonna have it sleeved,they will take it out for you.i have taken them out,but had to make a special tool to do it(pressed in one)
