Gearing up for turbo...what is most prone to go out first?
Hi,
I am going to be going with a Drag Gen III turbo kit for my 99-00 Si, and I am wondering, since one goal is reliability, what usually is likley to go wrong first? Head gasket? Rods? Ect..
Any tips on keeping my daily driver in good condition? The kit comes with a fuel regulator? Would a good fuel management be in order? If so, which one, because I doubt I could pass smog with Hondata. Thanks for your help.

i dont think the drag kit is smog legal either.... so why bother trying to skimp on the fuel management?
run hondata. you won't be disapointed.

you will not even pass visual inspecition with any turbo kit..hhhaha
you have a long way to go.
Yes the 1st thing I would get is hondata or some sort of fue managment system.
if your only boosting 6-7psi TUNNED the 1st thing that goes will be your clutch.

First to go out assuming it is tuned under safe afr and timing, I would have to say your clutch.
For managment go hondata, or if you tune yourself go with aem.
You wont pass smog with a DRAG kit. Find yourself a good mechanic who takes cash bribes
