Default Sensor near intake on 1st gen b16

theres a sensor right there, And I was talking to this one shop telling them how I really dont think when the pedal is floored Im at full throttle. They said yea you might need to wires switched around on that sensor and it will be fine.... Does anybody have any idea what they are talking about its a sensor on the back of the throttle body with 3 wires.

Thats the throttle position sensor.
If it was somehow wired wrong, your car would throw a check engine light.
Judging by your post, i would recommend you not touch it.

To diagnose the check engine light, all you have to do is lift the carpet on the passengers side kick panel. The ecu will have a little window with a red LED underneith. It will blink a certain amount of times, which will tell you what the trouble is. Just count the blinks, and you'll know whats wrong with your car.
