Now i know alot will doubt my decision to not go for the manual swap, im really interested in only the automatic transmission. What should i do, should i just try to strengthen my engine to be able to handle nos, or will bolt-ons make a big difference, how bout ls/vtec conversion what are some realistic times for my quarter mile i dont want to spend more than 2000 on the engine. Thanx guys
i gots an auto ls 2.... jus get like a 60 shot of nos... work on suspension stuff... get a torque convertor if you can.... that helps our auto trannies alot....
oh yea, if cars engine is in good condition, it will handle a 60 shot fineee....

my sister's 94 auto ran 16.65 stock (removed resonator)
unfortunately I inherited the auto after I rolled my 92 5spd

I have a 95 ls auto with 97,000 miles. I have used 55 shot on my car and runs fine. I will try using 75 shot soon when i get my ignition timing retarded. If you want your auto tranny to run smooth for a long time, try investing in a tranny cooler. Hayden is a good choice, u can pick them up from most car stores.
Built up torque convertor---Built up tranny---Tranny oil cooler---Regular full system flush---Use full synth fluids---Have one good brain---Use common sense.
IMHO.. save up for a turbo and build from there... even on a stock car it has decent gains with more potential for more power...
basic turbo kit.. later upgrade fuel system or ignition, exhaust, high flow or no cat... etc.... get the big mod out of the way and work on the rest as you have time... and money...
