Default Header for 5th Gen

Quick question guys, do all 5th gen (94-97) Accords use the same header, or 94-95 are different from 96-97?

They are the same through the years. However, Vtec headers are different from non-Vtec headers (ports are different).

it's actually the pattern of the exhaust ports on the head that is the problem. on the VTEC, the #2 and #3 cylinders are closer together. whereas the non-VTEC has all 4 spaced equally. (or do i have that backwards guys?)

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by iakona &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">it's actually the pattern of the exhaust ports on the head that is the problem. on the VTEC, the #2 and #3 cylinders are closer together. whereas the non-VTEC has all 4 spaced equally. The port patterns are the exact same. The only difference is the vtec manifold is a 4-2-1 design with the o2 sensor on the secondary pipe. The non-vtec manifold is a 4-1 design with the o2 sensor on the primary section.

ah, okay. my bad. then why are there always 2 different part numbers for the EX vs. the LX/SE?

and is it the same header for the 90-97 since it's still the F22 block, just in different variations?

there is always 2 different part #'s because of the o2 sensor location.

and i belive the 4th and 5th gen exhaust ports were different.
