Sorry if this has been asked. Treid searching didnt find much. I just picked up a used dc header. How would i know if its for a 4th gen or 5th? I have a 4th gen. I asked the guy and he didnt give me a straight answer because it was form his h22a accord. SHould i have anything to worry about? Probably lil modification if any? thanks


YEs i know that Dc headers suck but i got it for 140 bucks and in good condition. Just tryin to get some cosmetic points under the hood.

 

WOuld it have anythig to do with where the o2 sensor is located?

 

The secondary part of the header is A LOT longer on the 4th gen DC header.

no, its just a difference in length. the easiest way to find out is take the header out to your car and put the downpipe up against your old one. if it is for a 5th gen the difference in length will be easily determined.

 

Unless the guy who had it on his Accord modified the length of the rest of his exhaust system, it most defintely is a 4th Gen H22 header.
