Default Difference between EK/EG rear forked shocks?

As the title says, can you fit rear EK forked shocks into EG (that had forked shocks)?

Is the distance between the forks different?

Is there anything else to stop you using EK shocks in an EG? I know control arm lengths are different.

From what I've heard, you need to shave some off of the LCA bushing to fit the EK fork onto it. Other than that, several people have mentioned using EK shocks on EG's.
