check for the number of o2 sensors. 2 o2 sensors mean's it obd2. and 1 o2 sensor means obd1. that's the easiest way to check. if there are any more ways, post it.

If your just looking for what year the motor is theres a year stamp on the head of the motor. On mine its like right on top of the first cylinder exhaust port.
