search gave sparse answers. did you read the threads that you linked? they are about swapping seats into egs and such. the only piece of useful information that might pertain to my question is that they say it sits higher, and thats not even comparing to an ex seat. so either you didnt read my post, or you didnt read the threads you gave.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by slowEJ8 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">for the 99-00 civics, the si seats were the ones made by recaro right? or am i thinking of something else? or are the si seats the same as ex? pics? </TD></TR></TABLE>

99-00 si and ex seats are exactly the same, except that they use different fabric patterns and the si's have the hole in the headrest. i think you were thinking of the crx si seats, which were made by recaro.

this thread:

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=582088

says....

"the Si swaps over to the 96 hatch kinda like the gsr fits all parts into the eg. you should be fine"

This thread has someone who has pics (not posted.. must email/pm him) of the 99 ex seats...

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=196838

as does this one...

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=530213

couldn't find any pics though...

As stated above, 99-00 Si seats are very similar to EX seats...they have integra headrests and different material, but are identical (I THINK) in shape. Not made by recaro though!

My sister just got a 1995 EX coupe and I can't belive how much more support those seats have compared to my 98 EX coupe. I was thinking of putting some 92-95 seats into my 98! That will fit, as long as you swap rails, right?

the crx seats are good...

another option you may want to think about is the delsol seats... those are supposedly the most suportive.... other the jdm itr/ctr's and they're usually pretty cheap too...
