EX vs SI seats

EX vs SI seats
Hi, I want to upgrade my seats on my 99 hatchback dx, I want to get some EX or SI seats (SI or SIR in Canada). I want those with the multiple adjustments, I'm sure that all SI have them, but does all EX have the 2 extra adjustements? Are they worth it?
And is there any difference between there seats? SI seats will bolt on? Am I better to get some Integra seats (don't know if they bolt on tho). Are the adjustments for lumbar and height?
I could get a pair of EX front seats for 40$ or the 4 seats from a SI for 100$.
thanks.

Re: EX vs SI seats
i think the only difference between the EX and SI seats are the fabric patterns, hole in the headrest on the SI, and the SI seats have a lumbar support. I think SI seat patterns are nicer than the EX, but some people act like they're the best on the market and over price them. for $100 for front and back, I'd go for it depending on the condition, but it's not like it would be an "upgrade." You're not getting anything special. save your money or buy GSR leather seats.

These were available on the EX right? They are different from base seats for sure. But they don't look really supportive anyways.
For me it's a upgrade if I can adjust lumbar (and what's the other adjust thing?).
And what about SI vs base integra seats? I don't want to spend money for gsr seats (unless it's around 100$) and I don't like leather. I don't really mind low seats, but since I use my car for pizza delivery, it's nice to be able to get in and out without too much effort.

It depends of what you call lumbar. The less I have the more I like usually. I'll try to go to a pull a part scrapyard tomorrow, hopefully they will have one or 2 "luxury" civic with those seats.

Integra seats
Their bolsters stick out more than the Civic seats. They feel more secure & hold you in position during turns. Pretty sure that other people would agree on this.

Civic seats are garbage. Get integra cloth seats or del sol seats. The fabric is hideous anyways don't worry about it matching.
No one is going to say "omg your seats don't even match bro"

You're silly.
del Sol seats are more performance oriented to the couch-like Civic seats.
EX seats do appear to be made of more plush fabric and foam than, say, CX seats. I've daily driven on both and there was a noticeable difference!
I know my 1998 EX seats don't have lumbar support and even though my EX also has the TYPE K (Classy Gray) interior the Si has as well, the fabric pattern is different. This could be based on year and not trim though.
Except me because I'm picky about stuff like that. Except tbh I don't care about most cars on this site to that level so it's not like it'd matter to me unless I owned the car.
Ginormous seats!

Re: EX vs SI seats
Using del sol seats in my 2000 ex coupe, love them.. really comfortable and simplistic looking with good support. I managed to find some with a green center stripe that matches my exterior. However, like other people have mentioned they do sit really low in a civic. Especially when you've had the car lowered, feels like I'm sitting on the ground. I've personally been debating on getting them re-upholstered with black leather/charcoal stitching to match my console cover, door panel inserts and shift/e-brake boots.
