Mallory hyfire IV and MSD blaster coil ss install write up
alright so i successfully installed both units. The thin green wire from the mallory harness connects to the blue coil harness wire. The other thin red wire from the harness connects to both the yellow and the black/yellow wire from the coil harness.
The thick black and yellow wires from the mallory harness go to coil positive and negative, yellow being positive.
The thick pink and black wire from the mallory box (not harness) go to battery positive and ground.
The thin orange wire from the mallory box goes to a switch, serving as the signal. you still need to give the switch positive, power and switch negative, a ground.
the thin green and black wires left from the mallory box are not used.
the rpm signal slot on the mallory unit requires a wire going to your tac's rpm signal wire.
and there you go, thats pretty much it....post if you have any problems.
