Default Engine for 93 civic

hiya folks, i have a probably easy question that i dont know where else to find out, ok, i have a 93 civic ex coupe, and next year i would like to stick i new v-tec engine in her.. i went to http://www.japandomesticmotor.com and looked at engines, but didnt know which one would be the best pick for my car??

iw as looking at this one, its within price range, and im thinking it would work for me??
B16A G2 (SiR II)
my car is also a manual, if that matters, thanks a ton in advance!!

b16's are nice i got one, but a gsr engine would be alot better as more tq.

I would go for an h22 its about the same price of a b16 or maybe a little more, h22 is 2199.99 from hmotorsonline.com and 360.00 for the mount kit. But if you havent done any swaps, b16 would be better for you, theres alot of work to the h22 swap.

hmm, so, could i drop a B16A G2 (SiR II) in my car without the mount kits? or is that just kinda a universal requirment for an engine swap??
same goes for the gsr...
i just need help finding one, im gonna have my dad help me, hes a master tech, so thats nice!@ haha thanks guys

B-Series are pretty much straight forward in your car. Plus you have an EX so VTEC is already wired.

ok, cool, so the B18C (GSR) would be a little more of a hassle then seems how it was for later model cars?

puttin a b16 and a b18c is the same, its exactly the same amount of work.

hm ok, i just wanna say you guys rock for actully replying to me in the end, i will probably choose the b16, the slight power diff, i dont think is worth the extra thousand bucks, i could almost get a turbo kit for that! know what i mean?

i would probly do gsr, but either way it is an improvement over what you have.

I have a jdm b18c in my civic with a b16 tranny with a kaaz lsd and it was a very simple swap, I got the motor from hmotorsonline.com. those guys are awesome.
