Default slicks fitment question

I've got a '92 CX hatch, and I'm shortly going to purchase some slicks. After speaking with John (thanks again!), I'm going with the 24.5x8.5x13 M&H's. These will most likely be on a bogart 13x8 rim. What kind of fitment issues am I going to have with this setup? I.E., what kind of ride-height will I have to set? I currently own stock springs and progressive drop springs (fairly heavy drop) to choose from, though I will jump on some skunk2 drag launch springs all around when I can find some for sale.

Also, I have been running stock shocks with the progressive drop springs on my car at the track with nitto 555's on stock steelies, hitting 2.1-2.2 60's. If I use the stock suspension (stock shocks and springs), will they hurt me any more than what I was previously running (stock /w drop springs)? I can theorize all day, but your insight would help

What's the drop on the Progress springs like? More then likely for 24.5's you may be able to get away with them at the strip, but would probably rub while turning. Your best bet obviously is going to get a set of adjustable coil-overs beit sleeved or full. What size nitto's do you run now and what kind of fender clearence do you have? I mean if need be you could always modify to fit. Probably going to be real close.

24.5's might be pushing it personally i would go coilovers or put the stock suspension back on. I think turning will be a major problem, isn't the progress drop similar to h&r sports?

Well, I've currently got the stock suspension on, so I'll probably just leave that on until I can get some drag-launch coilovers. I think the progressive drop springs are around 2" (they were on my other car when I got it a couple years ago), so I don't know for sure.

I measured the nitto's at 23", and the gap between th fender and the tire is pretty minimal, so I think that I just need some adjustable coilovers. Thanks, all!
