What do you do to keep your turbine housing free of rust?
I am looking into a temp coating of some sort but the companies around here want way to much $$...just looking for alternatives. Thanks,

exactly.
exactly.
if you're a cheap bastard like me, and cant afford to even pay 85 dollars to coat it. get a can of copper spray, and coat the turbine housing with it. once heated up for the first time, the copper turns a cast iron grey color. i always use it if the turbine housing is not coated otherwise.
I've coated mine with several coats of silicon exhaust spray (summit retails it).
I used the same stuff on my old turbo and manifold, and it looked great even after a year of daily driving.
Heres what my new setup looks like...

I find that if it does not get wet, that putting a light coat of WD 40 or Liquid Wench on it now and again keeps it looking like cast iron...
The down side is it smells for a few mins after start up.
But it seems to kepp mine rust free...

That looks really good
Also seems to be the easiest and cheapest way. I think I will do this. Thanks!
