cause im looking to buy a world sport catback for my 92 cx and at some sites it states that it fits 92-95 hatchbacks except cx/vx, but it doesnt say that at other sites. why is that? is there really a difference?

catalytic converter is on the header in the CX... I know that for sure.
the Si has it under the engine ... like on Integras... correct?

 

so, your saying that it shouldnt matter anyways because with the GSR motor it should bolt up because i'll have to use the GSR cat. or am i way off?

theyre different, but u can have an muffler shop fab a piece to go from your stock down pipe to the new exhaust. shouldnt cost more than $40

 

besides the cat being on the header....the piping is CONSIDERABLY smaller as well

 

get the SI hatch exhaust system, then change over your exhaust manifold and relocate the cat to underneath the car..
