OT: Got stitches a little while ago. Yay!
Well, won't be driving the R this weekend, let alone auto-x-ing on Sunday. I was doing some work in the lab, upgrading a couple of machines. Part of that involved rearranging some pc's, as we currently stack two or three on top of each other in the racks. Somehow managed to slice open my left thumb on the edge of the rack
Proceed to start bleeding everywhere, while cursing the rack appropriately. Get to the kitchen (dripping blood all over the floor), wash it up some, and grab a LOT of paper towels to keep pressure on it. Got a coworker to drive me over to the on-site health care center. Conversation goes like this:
me: "Hi. Can someone look at this? I cut my hand pretty bad."
receptionist, looks at bloody towels, then me, then computer: "I don't guess you have an appointment, do you?"
*no kidding, she really said that*
me: "No, no appointment. I really didn't plan on cutting my hand today."
Nurse and a doc cleaned it up and threw four stitches in there. Sooo nice having on-site medical care. No forms, no insurance, no co-pays... In and out in less than an hour!! I'll be good as new in a week.
Pat, who's left hand now looks like this

Ross - Yeah, pretty much. Combination of poor planning and not enough thought
I had plenty of paper towels, if duct tape had been handy, I wouldn't have even bothered going to the hcc!

Hehe Pat I was thinking I needed to properly attribute my sig to you!
What you did is nothing compared to a kid I know...he was working in a restaurant last summer and he cut off his thumb because he was holding the bread improperly.

Thought about that, but this is more in the "gash" category. 1.5" long, 0.25" deep. Bled like a stuck pig
