So I woke up this morning to 5 inches of snow outside. I turn on the tv to see if anything is closed. All the high schools and elementary schools are closed so I assume my college is closed. I go back to sleep. Turns out I was wrong. So I had to borrow my mom's pathfinder. That thing was all over the place in the snow, as most of the roads on my way to school were not plowed. When I got to school, my teacher told me to go home so I went to taco bell and got a kid's meal. I got home and this is what the hatchcrap looks like. So sad. It's not supposed to let up until 8 tonight.



Apparently some jackasses decided to use my hood as a source of snow for whatever reason. Hopefully they used their hands and not a shovel.

If I didn't have these, than I would be driving my car, considering it isnt that low.


To keep this civic "tech" related, does anybody know of any 4x100 15" steelies? It's going to be a long winter this year and I'm not going to be able to bum a 4wd whenever I want. . .

I think one of the online tire dealers will sell tires mounted on steelies for a few extra bucks, might be an option.

Check out ebay. There not 15s but they have some brand new 14" steelies off of new civics for like $75.
I'm going back to shoveling snow.

We have 8" here at my house. My 89 hatch winter beater needs a new upper ball joint on the passenger side and I don't have a way to get out of here to the Honda dealer. My friends 92 CX is sittng in my garage with a blown motor and now my VX is all snow covered argh!

I'm sitting in about six inches right now. Our school were closed and being a school teacher I was a little happy.

Anyway call the Tire Rack. My friend has a 2000 Si and she got some steelies from them real cheap. She got 14" and they fit fine. You have Si wheels so 14's should work. 14" snow tires area hell of a lot cheaper than 15".

check out his brake kit though, big wilwood calipers, needs at least 15in to clear. I talked with discounttiredirect, the 15in oem are 38bucks a wheel with free mounting and balancing, when you buy tires at the same time. 205/50/15. Thanks about the wheels, I painted them in my friend's basement at 11 o clock at night with no light and 2 cans of matte black wheel paint. The more I look at that picture, the more painfully obvious it becomes that arp wheel stud need to stop being backordered.

Why not the 2001+ Civic EX wheels? They are 15" steelies with hubcaps and should clear your calipers.
