what makes more power on a Stock ITR motor with i/h/e a good exhaust setup jdm dc4-1 / test pipe/ skunk2 exhuast.... how about on a mildly done b20/vtec with 10.5:1 compression..... just curious cuz some people said that the skunk2 stg1's dont make more power than the ITR/CTR cams... true or false?

dont believe everything people tell you. The SKunks should make more power than the OEM cams on either setup.

I've heard from 3-5 more whp from the Skunk2 Stage one cam's. Thats not that great of a difference when you consider the pricing differences. Id go with ITR/CTR (oem quality). There is quite a price gap between the 2 for not that much difference. It depends what kind of power band you are after too. Skunk2 would be more power way up top and the itr/ctr cams have a good mid and top range setup. Also, I think the skunk2's have a longer duration then the itr/ctr cams.
I say go with ctr/itr cams. Unless you want to spend a chunk more of money for a maybe just a bit more power. And you never know with your setup one cam may respond better then the other.

If your real serious about racing it then the skunk2's are better for top end power. ITR/CTR aren't too far behind but they have better midrange power. I say a ctr/itr cam is a great cam for the street
, also for the track but the skunk2's perform a little bit better up top and are capable of pushing out more power if you want to change your redline. it all depends what kind of goals you are searching for and what kind of powerband you have.

CTR cams will provide you with more usable power, especially after a nice day of tuning on the dyno
Skunk2 Stage 1's are a good alternative, and you will have a higher peak power (in horsepower and RPM wise).
Also consider the Jun2 intake cam along with the ITR exhaust cam. Extremely good low-mid range with a nice topend.
