Engine Removal...help
ok i have a a 93 dx hatch, automatic.... im getting ready to pull the engine, and all im wanting to know like wat is the first thing you disassemble? i've heard you are suppose to take off axles and other suspension componets first, but ehn ive heard take out the wiring harness and all the engine bay wires?? can someone please help me
The order doesnt really matter aside from the mounts being last. disconnect anything thats going to hold it to the frame and pull the axles and you should be good to go.
Heres a couple links you might want to read up on.....

what i did:
-drain engine oil, coolant, tranny fluid
-disconnected the engine harness from car harness (didnt remove plugs from motor)
-un did the intake, vaccum lines, fuel
-i would undo the p/s pump and a/c here, but i didnt have either
-jacked up car, removed shift linkage, down pipe, axels.
-then i hoisted up the engine, removed the mount bolts
