Resetting the ECU w/out disconnecting battery?
I have 00 Si with many basic bolt-ons and i occationally get the too rich/too lean CEL, and everytime i disconnect my battery i lose all the info in my CD player. now i know there is a fuse under the hood that you can disconnect to reset it but i don't know which one it is. can some post a pic. or tell me which one to pull? Thanks

Correct cuz the fuse is the "ecu/clock/radio fuse". You can always unplug the ecu directly too and that will clear it but still keep your radio stations. Have you tried to fix the reason why you keep getting the code?

fix the problem, dont jus reset the ecu time after time. jus cause you reset
the light and the light is on doesnt mean the problem is fixed. since the light keeps coming
back the problem will be with you until you find out and fix the problem.

I've tried to fix the problem... the Helms manual says, that of course, it is running too rich/ too lean, there's contaminated fuel, exhaust leak, valve clearance, or the MAP sensor. i've checked my valves and adjusted to specs, lowered my fuel press. back to stock, and get Amoco 93 octane everytime. i doubt think i have an exhaust leak, but how do i check the MAP sensor to see if it's bad?
make a switch wired to the ecu that cuts power to it whenever you turn off the car. that way, your ecu will be "reset" every time you stop driving. i do agree though that you should fix whatevers wrong with your car instead of trying to ignore it by getting rid of the cel...
