Default Clutch Problem (did search)

I was driving my LS/Vtec '88 Accord(CABLE CLUTCH!) this past weekend and was taking it very easy on the car because I am still breaking it in (58miles). Anyway, I was pulling from a light normally (NOT RACING) and my pedal went to floor. So, anyway I check the clutch cable and it is fine and 1yr old. I go to pull the clutch arm and I can pull it up and it sticks as well as the pedal. I get the car home and pull the tranny and find that the spring is broken. I figure no biggie a $5 part. So I reinstall that part along with the tranny and everything is lined up and bolted on and I decide I should just make sure there is tension on the arm. Sure enough no tension. The arm moves freely and the pedal still sticks. So, I removed the tranny again and removed the pressure plate and reinstalled and retorqued. SAME PROBLEM!

Here is my clutch set up
1990 Integra S1 Cable transmission
ACT Extreme Pressure Plate
ACT Street Organic Disc
ACT XACT 12lb Flywheel

So what do I do now?? I replaced the spring and the cable is fine. Could the pressure plate be fucked up too? Is it the release bearing (I installed a new one when I put the thing together) Or, is it the clutch fork??

Anyone else had a problem like this?

stfu.

as for the accord guy, check out the accord forum or tech forum. but it sounds like a pressure plate issue. see what your manual says about the clutch trouble shooting

I have been thinking about putting a B series in my 84 Accord for a long time. What did you use for mounts?

I meant with him spraying....clutchwise if you are sure the fork, release bearing and cable are fine then your p.plate could be bad(rare), or it is the wrong disc combo.

Ahh yes, n2o. That is next summer's addition. As fas as the clutch goes, I can only say that the cable is fine. When I replaced the release spring the clutch fork looked fine and so did the release bearing, but I guess I will inspect those tomorrow along with calling ACT.

It has to be one of those. It is near impossible for a new p.plate to be bad now that I think about it.

I hope it is not the pressure plate, it only has 58miles on it. I am going to recheck the fork and bearing and take a closer look at the pressure plate fingers. I didnt notice anything tonight when I took it off, but I will check again. When I first installed the set up I could barely move the clutch arm, now I can move it easily. It seems like the bearing is not hitting the pressure plate.

I pulled the tranny off again this morning and checked everything out and to my knowledge everything looks ok. Can you guys see anything? I am going to call ACT when they open up and I am going to head down to the Acura dealership and get compare throwout bearings. Here are the pics....

The pics really dont say much. All I see is a p.plate and a throwout bearing.

Engine dropped in via Place Racing mounts. I stayed OBD-0 so wiring was simpler than converting to OBD-1. Place racing made an engine harness that plugged into the factory harness and added wires (vtec, knock, ingniters, crank sensor)through the fire wall. I then had to move some pins around.

I talked with ACT today and they said to check some things first before I send the plate back to them. I checked all the other possibilities out and I believe it is the pressure plate, so I will be hopefully sending it back tomorrow.

Turns out pressure plate and clutch disc are fine. What do I do now? I eliminated the clutch cable from the equation.
