Yes, the grounds, check the ground that goes to the valve cover to radiator support, if thats not there no start.

did you kill the battery???if the battery is dead then it will "click" when it tries to make the starter turn but doesnt have enough juice. if not then like everyone else said check your grounds

what are you talking about? the car will run just fine w/o that. the only ground you need connected is the one at the thermostat.

Default Ok... the starter isn't turning because of two possible reasons...

1. The power supply to the starter. (this is why people are telling you to check grounds and battery charge. If it all checks out for power, try pulling the starter out of the trans and seeing if it works. If it spins youve got some internal problem from the adjustment of the valves.

2. Not to question your methods but did you turn the motor 90 degrees for each of the valve adjustments.... I mean did you read up well before you adjusted the valves.. I could imagine trying to adjust the valve against the cam where the lobe is at it's lowest point... then the "rocking arms" would get stuck on the lobes as the motor tried to spin. (unlikely if you followed procedure)

Charge up your battery or jump it from another one

What about the one at the battery that completes the circuit???
