straight pipe exhaust
im considering getting a custom 2.5" aftercat exhaust and having the muffler from my apex welded on. just wondering if anyone has a straightpipe exhaust and how loud it is. i know getting rid of the resonator will affect the sound, but how much louder does it get?
It will sound like, Bee's in a tin can

i have another idea. first, does keeping the resonator affect backpressure? i was thinking about getting a 2.5" straight pipe from the header back, but having them weld in the resonator from the apex exhaust. that way i would have a free'er flowing exhaust because i'd have no cat, but at the same time i wouldnt have the terrible sound caused by having no resonator... does that sound like it would work?
