H23 @ 7lbs boost, can I increase safely?
My 93 Prelude (110K miles) is running 7 lbs boost and I'm hoping for 10 without ringlands going. etc. Please check my bio for info on current tune to help with recommendations. Car is daily driver, so 93 octane is supposed. Thanks for any help!
Rats! The guy who built it installed two extra injectors in the intake pipe, 6" from throttle butterfly in plenum. Fuel computer only runs those...Air/fuel meter shows OK (rich) under boost. What setup would work better for higher boost levels?
Thanks guys, I'll stay at 7lbs until I build the motor. Any suggestions on the nitrous? It's been plumbed and ready but unused. (My buddy has a 300hp alltrac and I 'm not eating his dust!)

OT: So rain isn't an issue with that vented CF hood? I've got a 4th gen prelude w/h23 and I was considering a VIS Invader hood but I'm worried it'll get the manifold or turbine wet and that would not be a good thing.
Yup, It lets water onto the valve cover and plug wires, so far not a problem though. It does let out engine bay heat and look cool, mine is painted body color. I really need to replace the upper timing belt cover, as it may allow the belt to get wet. Anybody have one for sale?
Leave it at 7psi unless you have money for a rebuild. Besides, without fine dyno tuning you will not be able to tell much of a difference with 3psi.
Take my advice now, or you'll be taking it later when you ask us why your motor blew and how to fix it.

As you can tell, I've purchased the car recently. How reliable is the H23 @ 7psi? Does any Honda/Acura come stock with a LSD that I can swap in? 1st gear launch is tough without it....
You can safely boost 7 to 8psi all day long, make sure to run premium fuel. Do a cylinder leakdown test first to make sure you have good compression first. If you want a real deal LSD, go with a quaife. Or if you are just looking for a little something and not planning on putting out a lot of power such as 300ish to the wheels, then you can use the phantom grip which is a lot cheaper. And no you will not be able to find a stock LSD for your H series tranny.
