how much boost
I put a turbo on my 92 prelude (h22a) was just wondering wats that max boost i can run . ive decompressed the engine using pistons out of my old motor (h23) im curently running 12 psi to b safe how much more can i go .and wat compresion do u think im running ?
H23 compression is 9.8:1, so i geuss your compression should be around that number. That is still pretty high. 12 psi is a bit on the high side and should only be run ones in a while. Because you still have a relative high compression, you'll need less boost to get alot of horse power. I hope you know what your doing, cause with high compression and that kind of boost, the marging for error is very very small.
I'd suggest that you run 8 psi and 10 to 12 psi at the races ones in a while.
Good luck and dyno the car and have it tuned properly.

I'd run about 10 cans of boost... if you really want to you can throw in 3 or 4 bars too.

seriously, try a search. sorry to be an ***, but you'll find ALL the info you'll ever need on this topic as it is discussed 10x a week.

h22 head has a bigger cc, so the compression ratio should be lower then that, not sure how much thoough.
what kind of fuel mgmt you using?
