Ok keep me posted on this. No spark, no fuel pump priming = bad ECU, bad jumper harness, OR the main relay screwed.

First of all, with the key in the ON position.......does the CEL go on for 2 seconds then go off, or does it just stay on the whole time?

Check the ECU fuse, ECU back up fuse, (both under the hood) and the ACG fuse (next to the SRS fuse under the dash).

also, you need to run B-series injectors and fuel pump. sounds like possibly a ground problem, and maybe a bad main relay. do you have powa to the main relay?
edit- also, you don't need to check injectors for voltage, you need to check for pulse. injectors usually get ~10.x volts. do you have a spark?

we checked mainrelay and that was fine. even replaced it with a buddy of mines who has a 96 cx.

when the car is turned to the on postion the engine light stays on the whole time.

the car has spark and is now getting fuel cause we wired the fuel pump to the ignition before it wasnt getting any power at all.

Ok, the CEL should come on and go off after 2 seconds. Check the ACG fuse next to the SRS fuse under the dash.

ok, well you need some injectors out of something like a B16A3, 94-95 B18B1, 94-95 B18C1, etc. also, make SURE the ecu is grounded. the ground is under the hood, at the thermostat housing (back of the block, where lower radiator hose connects)

I have heard that, but I've always converted the harness to use the B series injectors.

well, my friend brian (Plan B on here, knows his ****) had d-series injectors on his built gs-r, and it ran like ****. (the car has 12.5:1 cr) he put in 99-00 Si injectors, and it runs awesome.
edit- note- it will run with d-series, though. look for a ground/relay/sensor/ecu problem

It's next to the SRS fuse. This completes the circuit with the main relay/ecu.

I remember seeing what ACG stands for according to Helms a while back, but I can't friggin remember, now you're killing me!

it'll hit me eventually lol

dont worry it will probably come to you when your not thinking about it.

i just thought of somethign that it could possibly be. i had to rewire my distrbutor

beacause it didnt plug up to my harness. the distributor was off a obd2b engine,

so we cut the plug off and used the plug of my d16 and color matched the wires

and used but connectors. on the hybrid forum on ht i posted this topic and

someone mentioned if the the distributors wires arent right it wont send spark or

fuel to the combustion chamber.

That is correct. main relay has to do with it, ALSO being the ignitor unit. the ignitor unit has to do with it as well.
