fluid maintenance
I had to change and bleed my clutch fluid yesterday and my car's shifting improved dramatically. There was debris in the fluid resevoir and the mechanic said it was long over due.
I recently changed the brake fluid as well just because i didnt know if the previous owner had ever had it done.
Can someone provide the intervals when the engine fluids need to be changed.

I'd change the oil a bit sooner than 7500 if I were you. I change mine every 5K miles or whenever I can get my hands on some free Mobil 1.
I like to flush out the slave cylinder every now and then. Usually whenever I change out the tranny fluid. Last time I did it was when I put in my new clutch. I noticed some black substance floating around in the bottom. So I totally flushed it out.

If I changed my oil whenever I got my hands on some FREE Mobil 1, that'd be - lets see... Wait! I've NEVER been able to find any free Mobil 1! OH NO, it's been 118k miles...
Yeah, I change about every 5k, but I didn't want to start a holy war about oil changes. Sounded like he was really asking about brake fluid...

I change the oil when it looks like it needs changing, or about every 3-4k miles.
Any kind of hydrolic fluid (PS, Brakes, Clutch) about one a year. I removed the PS so no worries with that anymore.
Antifreeze is what, about every 25k?
Tranny every 15k-20k.
My intervals are beyond the "extreme" ones set by Acura.

It is damn easy... Pick up a bottle of DOT3 or DOT4 brake fluid from your Honda dealership, other brands work as well, I just try to keep things simple and use Honda fluids. Open your clutch fluid container(under hood near driver against the firewall) Open the bleeder screw down near the tranny, hook up a clear hose to it first and have it drain in a bucket or something. Pump the clutch pedal by hand 6-7 times, top off the clutch fluid container and pump more... Repeat the topping off and pumping until the fluid is totally clear. DO NOT LET THE FLUID DRAIN COMPLETELY, cuz you'll get air bubbles in the system and have to start all over. Once its good, top it off and enjoy your more consistent pedal feel. Made my 6 puck feel like it was brand new again

No problems, it made the clutch pedal much stiffer and it engages much smoother, rather than engaging at the very end of the clutch pedal release it engages more smoothly throughout the release. Overall, it made it much easier to drive easy and hard. I highly recommend bleeding your clutch if your fluid is dirty or it feels like your clutch has lost its like new feel.
