on my b16a1 there seems to be a part missing just above the thermostat housing and to the right of the intake manifold..
there are two small tubes that go up from the thermostat but there is nothing to attach them too... I thought that this was the IACV but it wasn't
any one have any idea!!

Im getting ready to put it in today the swap starts
I found out it was the fast idle valve
I thought it was the IACV but it was not
I was close though eh!

 

when i had my swap done I had the same thing. I took it to another shop and they said it dosn't do anything. my car was stolen 2 days after that so i didn' thave to worry about it.

Yeah. but they only gave me 6500 of the 15,000 i put into it. I bought a type R though. so thats all good
