Default Is this item needed with swap?

Not sure what the items marked are for. Are they needed once the engine is swapped into my 97ex. If so what do they connect to? If not do I just cap it?
Engine is a B18C

Pg 8-3 of the 96-99 Civic Service Manual indicates that the black box is an Oil Breather Chamber. (Looking at B16A section)

The part with the red fitting doesn't show on the diagram. Does it look like it might have been added? I would say the red fitting is safe to plug, but leave the box and the other fitting attached.

Does anyone have a Teg manual that can look up an Oil Breather Chamber Diagram?

Yes you need them i beleive, that pink thing is your pcv valve. That connects somewhere on your intake manifold. If you got a gsr the hose will connect on the bottom. If its a b16a or type r it will be on the top.

Yea you can do that also.I had a bad PCV valve and it was letting oil from that box to build up in my intake manifold and the idle was also fluctuating like if it had a vac leak.I replaced it and its fine now.
