My car has been at Body Pros for the past 5 weeks to install a JDM front end and repaint my rear bumper. The first two weeks they didn't do much since they were waiting for me to bring them a hood (they only put on the radiator support and primered the fenders. It's been 3 weeks since I dropped off my hood, and it still isn't done yet. The finish date keeps getting pushed back. Now I'm expecting it by Tuesday.

Just a heads up, Body Pros lags a lot. Everybody says they do. What body shop doesn't though, to a certain extent? Everybody also says that the quality is top notch though.

For me, it was a tossup between Body Pros and M.O.B. I chose Body Pros because I remember them being one of the first in the area to do the JDM conversion back when I was in high school. Also one of my buddies on here (SilverB18C1) had his OEM kit painted at M.O.B., and the front lip was chipping like no other. On the other hand, another one of my buddies on here (integobsession) got his JDM front & CWest kit painted at M.O.B., and it's fine.

Just FYI, both places were charging about the same for a JDM front install- around $1400, which included paint, labor, and blending the two front doors.

BTW Body Pros' website is down right now- Wally said he's getting somebody to renovate it since the previous webmaster screwed it up. M.O.B.'s website is http://www.mobworks.com

There's also a current thread over in the Appearance/Cosmetic forum about SoCal body shops: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=578221
