Need quick help with Spoon Header Install
I am going to instally my Spoon Header and High Flow cat tommorrow and I was curious as to what new bolts I will need. I have heard that I will need new bolts to connect the header to the cat, but I am not sure.
If I do need bolts, where is a good place to get them and will I need a certain size washer as well.
Any help is appreciated. As I mentioned I will be doing this install very early tommorrow. Also, any other tips that people want to share are greatly appreciated.

I used the stock cat bolts...they work fine. just use the new donut and header gasket and everything is good. It is a tight fit getting it in, but you don't need to remove anything else to bolt it up...I know some headers just don't fit in the space w/ out removing something.
Pretty easy install if you know how to take the guard from underneath off. I did it in about 40 mins or so...
what kind of cat did you get or test pipe? You should love the header, it is a really nice piece. I wish I had mine jet coated, turned an ugly color once I ran it and it looks shitty right now....may want to do this b4 you install it. If you have any other specific ?'s, let me know.

Flex joint bolts 8mm x 90mm, B pipe 10mm x 30mm should do it for you. Any good hardware store. If they are steel coat them with some anti seeze for the future.
Cool, Thanks for the help. I will be using a carsound cat.
Yes, I heard that it will turn a gold color and that is there is grease or oil on there from the install that will burn into the header and stain it. I have some alchohol pads that I will use to clean the header after the install and hopefully that will help.
Otherwise if I don't like the look I will have it cleaned up and coated in the winter.

Hey did either of you get a sticker cause I didn't. I probably wouldn't put in on my car, but I was surprised that they didn't include one.
Mintydip and typer98, thanks again for the help.

I didnt get any stickers either
You would figure that spending almost a thousand dollars you would at least get a sticker.
Does anyones spoon header rattle? Mine just started rattling underneath.
