After looking at my latest dyno results , i'm assuming that my current exhaust setup (stock greddy dp+n1 catback exhaust) is too restrictive. I'm running 16 lbs on my greddy td05-18g right now and was wondering if a 2.5 dp and approximately 2.5-3 in exhaust piping mated to an n1 turbo muffler would cause boost creep. Anyone run a setup similar to what I plan to run care to share their experiences?

i do not speek from experience, [TappingHead]but just from what's up here[/TappingHead]

the 2.5 or 3" or 2.5" flared to 3" dowpipe will not cause boost creep as long as your wastegate is functioning properly. The larger diameter downpipe and exhaust will only aid boost to be built faster.. the reasoning behind this is there will be less backpressure in the exhaust system, allowing your turbo to "accelerate" to its desired boost level quicker.

I have the Greddy kit and I noticed when I installed the test pipe of course i spooled faster. But it would spike from 10lbs back to 8.5lbs once I got over 5000rpm. I'll be getting a EBC soon I have a hallman MBC right now. One thing I did that help was shorten the actuator arm by one turn it seemed to hold boost better.
