Default Oil pressure sensor...slightly different question

I've searched through all the threads containing "oil pressure sensor" that I could find, but I'm still not clear on something...

This is regarding my 90 CRX Si (ZC blacktop engine).

I'm trying to remove my stock oil pressure sensor from the back of my block so I can connect my oil supply line to my turbo.

So I slide under the car, and I removed the rubber boot that protects the stock oil sensor wire. So far so good.

Here's where I'm confused...

Once I removed the rubber boot, I see TWO wires connected into the block.
I only expected to see 1, not 2 (in all the H-T posts discussing this procedure, everyone says there will only be ONE wire)
These 2 wires both were protected by the rubber boot I took off.

Can someone please tell me what I should do?

My plan was to pull the wire off, remove the 15/16" bolt thing, and connect my oil supply fitting to my turbo. But that 2nd wire is confusing/worrying me.

If it helps any...the 2 wires connect into a green plastic looking circle, which seems to be embedded in the back of the block.

Hope this makes sense. Thanks for ANY help.

That's not the oil pressure sensor, that's for the coolant. If you take off your oil filter, you'll see the oil sensor then. It's to the right and above the coolant sensor. Give me a minute and I'll see if I can pull up a pick of mine.

Is the oil from that line already filtered, or post filtered?

It's that good b/c that motor was on a stand when I took that shot. Hell yea, FRAM racing!!! And I've read on here a couple times that that spot is filtered, but I myself have no idea. Only other spot I can think of to run it on a D is the port on the oil pump.

I figured, either the motor was on a stand when you took that pic, or you drilled a little peephole through your firewall! Haha

Were you asking about MY setup? I didn't know if that Q was directed to me or someone else.

If me, -- it's a turbo zc (greddy kit). Almost done, just need to swap injectors and pop in my charge piping.

Just in time for crxpo (9/13)
