1 = Knock sensor and its green

2 = oil pressure

3 = Not sure but I think it tells you if your low on oil.

Im not 100% positive if the ls motors have knock sensors but from the look of it,it is.

No, they do not have a knock sensor. Both #1 and #3 are for the cooling and condenser fans. The first one reads the oil temp(#1), at 226 degrees F, the sensor gives the fan ground. Now, the oil temp sensor only comes on cars with a/c. The Engine Coolant Temp. (ECT) (#3) reads the coolant temp. At 194 degrees F, it gives the fan ground. And #2 is a low oil pressure light for the Oil light in the gauge cluster.

You have two options, A) find the ECT sensor on the civic harness and loop it (that will mean that the cooling fan will be on all the time) or B) use the oil temp sensor or the ECT sensor on the B18a and splice into your civic ECT wires. Now I just did a B20 into a gen2 teg. What I did was I used the thermostat housing off the B20 and spliced the integra ECT to the B20 one. It turns on a little hotter (like 4 degrees hotter) but it works.

No, it will not hurt it, just do not let it idle for a while cause the fan will not come on and it will overheat.
