catch can setup. Sensor on block plug, what is it for?
ok, so i took out the black box and the two 14mm plugs for catch can setup.
everything when well except the 14mm plug on the left, next to the ops. that plug had a sensor in it. finally found the right size socket to get it out. 34mm
my ? is what is that sensor for? it doesn't connect to any anything. it's green.
from all the pics i found online, those two block plugs doesn't have a sensor on it.
btw, it's on a jdm b16a block. n no oem oil cooler either.
thanks
will post a pic soon.

It's your oil pressure sending unit, it plugs into your harness via a little sheathed metal clip. Like the one on the side of your head(coolant temp sensor), but for your oil. The harness' plug will look the same though.

i don't think it's that cuz i tee off the opsu for the turbo feed line. this sensor is about an inch round/wide.

It could be a ghetto rigged knock sensor, pics would help. If it is a knock senor and your running OBD1 and tuned (I hope so you since it says 99 EM1 turbo) you will not need it.
