my pully came off

i was driving last night and my underdrive pully came loose, dunno how. so that tossed my belts off and i was wondering if that would cause any harm to the engine?

Damn, did you take the pulley off at some time? You probably didn't torque it on tight enough....

How do you take the pulley off anyways? Since it spins freely anyways....
