Default Turbo with a jdm ITR tranny on long trips, how not to be in boost.

Well I am far from boosting but as of right now I have a FMIC,dsm fuel injectors, and BOV. I have a 94 integra ls w/ a 97 jdm itr tranny w/ lsd and 4.4 FD. I know the LSD helps out a lot with traction and stuff but man when I cruise at 80mph I am riding at about 4600rpm's On trips to cali and what not won't that hurt the turbo being cruising at that rpm for 5 hours. Is there a way to allow my car to not run any boost while driving like messing with the waste gate or something. I don't know much about turbo's so don't rip on me if it sounds retarded. Oh and would I be better sellign my tranny for a GSR tranny or something.

as long as you go at nothing more than 1/4 throttle u should be ok, depending on how small the turbo is of course

boost has nothing to do with rpm, it is load dependent.

don't worry about it man, as long as u dont get on it you can keep it outta boost. just don't have a heavy foot and take it easy. i've had longer trips in boosted rides

hehehe
Yeah, and getting an oil cooler would be like covering your house in dynamat, so you could party harder, longer.
Seriously though, if you frequently do long road trips in boosted vehicles I don't think an oil cooler would be a bad idea.
Any other opinions on oil coolers?
