Ok, my brother has had this thing on his car for a little while now.. and we've noticed it's eating up the throttle line pretty good. It's almost like it's engineered mirrored to what it should be. OK i can't post a picture at the moment, but for example the map sensor mounts on the bottom, instead of the top.
also, the big problem we're having is the throttle cable wraps around from the bottom to the top just like the factory throttle cable does, *BUT* when you look at the area where the cable wraps, the lower left edge has a semi-pointed edge to it, as does the upper right edge. The lower right and upper left are smooth and rounded. THe lower left edge is cutting the throttle line as the throttle is pulled open.
Does anyone have any experience with this, or has anyone tried to use a thin carbide dermel bit to cut the point down? I'm wondering if this is going to weaken the unit the throttle cable pulls on... I'll try to post pics when I can. Thanks

i can't post right now since FTP is blocked... i'll get that fixed later. It's installed correctly, the throttle "hook" for the end of the throttle cable is perfect and everything. to me it looks like they just used a wheel ment for another TB and stuck it on this application.
He hasn't had any complaints other than this issue, and no other porting or anything of the sort was done.... but it's just puzzeling us what to do. I suggested making a mount so it pulls the cable up higher, so the stress point will be more on the lower right edge which is rounded. We're going to give that a try I believe... I just can't figure out why in the world the semi-point would be where it is

ok have pics:
This shows the way the throttle body is facing. It can't be on wrong, or else the throttle control would be on the firewall side. You can also see the frayed throttle cable. Also, the clostest top edge of the throttle plate control you can sorta tell is semi-pointed. This is exactly how the opposite corner is, which is where the throttle cable pulls when you press the peddle. (IE> look at the upper screw hole on the right edge of the control, and then look into the "seem" where a throttle cable would run about half an inch above the hole and in that seem. That's the "point" i'm refering too... it's identical to that found on the opposite corner of the control, which is where the throttle cable hits)
Ok here the blue line represents the throttle cable. The red squares show where the semi-pointed area is.... when you pull the throttle cable all the pressure gets put onto the lower left hand red box, which is what's cutting the cable. The other two "corners" where the red boxes aren't located are rounded and smooth.
This again highlights the semi-pointed area, which on the previous picture would be the upper right hand red box.... anyone have a clue what's up with this design??
