Default can a b17 be turbo charge ..

can a b17 be turbo charge to run around 9psi of boost without re enforcing the internals of the engine first?,what kind of damage could the engine have at the long run?

NO WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!! Just kidding sure if the tune is right then sure you should be happily boosting with 9psi depending on the size of the turbo if it is an SC61 and makes power like tony1 made for a customer of 372whp with 9psi then I don't know how long it would last.

what kind of modification will i need to keep a b17 in good condition in the long run by running around 9psi ?

NO, the teal G2 guy was at a meet last year...he was making 280hp to the wheels on his b17 untuned! He had rebuilt the entire bottom and top, and was hitting 9500 or so rev limit continuously.

Damn, what a trip riding in that car.

Back on topic, I remember him telling me that b17's are notoriusly weaker on the bottom ends compared to b16s or b18s
