Has anyone converted 98 harness to 95 harness ecu plugs only
anyone ....i did one today and when i start the car it misses constantly
i know there is another kinda crank trigger on the crank i dont know what purpose it serves ...
has anyone done this ...am i missing somethin ...i had two wire diagrams side by side ...i thought i had it done right
i know i got the tdc cyp and cpk ...wires done correctly ...

On the OBD2 motors, the crank angle sensor is located on the block itself. That is the sensor you see.
On the OBD1 motors, the crank angle sensor is located inside the distributor.
Just rewire accordingly and it should fix the problem.

OBD2 engines integrated a Crankshaft Fluctuation sensor for misfire detection, which is located by the oil pump.
They [OBD2] distributors have always had a Crank Position sensor, as well as the TDC and CYL sensors.
